CLIMADA Technologies is a globally operating climate risk analytics company bringing opportunity to climate adaptation

Emerging from the research group of Weather & Climate Risk at ETH Zurich, CLIMADA Technologies is a global climate risk analytics company identifying opportunities for businesses through climate adaptation. Our technology is built on CLIMADA, an open-source global multi-hazard model, designed to calculate the socioeconomic impacts of weather and climate and under constant development with research groups around the world. CLIMADA Technologies covers all 28 hazards required by the EU-taxanomy and CSRD according to commission delegated regulation (EU) 2021/2139, predominantly quantitatively. The probabilistic event sets are available for current as well as future climate scenarios. Marrying these hazard sets with individual asset and vulnerability data, CLIMADA Technologies generates detailed physical risk analytics for direct and indirect impacts. The output supports the development of robust risk assessments as required by the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosure. At the core of CLIMADA (CLIMate ADAptation) lies the in-depth understanding of adaptation mechanisms.
